ABSTRACT

To improve the teaching-learning process in the Medicinal Chemistry course, new strategies have been incorporated into practical classes of this fundamental discipline of the pharmaceutical curriculum. Many changes and improvements have been made in the area of medicinal chemistry so far, and students should be prepared for these new approaches with the use of technological resources in this field. Practical activities using computational techniques have been directed to the evaluation of chemical and physicochemical properties that affect the pharmacokinetics of drugs. Their objectives were to allow students to know these tools, to learn how to access them, to search for the structures of drugs and to analyze results. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study in Brazil to demonstrate the use of computational practices in teaching pharmacokinetics. Practical classes using Osiris and Molinspiration were attractive to students, who developed the activities easily and acquired better theoretical knowledge.


Para melhorar o processo ensino-aprendizagem no curso de Química Medicinal novas estratégias estão sendo incorporadas às aulas práticas desta disciplina fundamental do currículo farmacêutico. Muitas mudanças e melhorias vêm marcando a área de química medicinal e por isso é importante que os alunos sejam colocados nestas novas abordagens na área, com a utilização de recursos tecnológicos. As atividades práticas foram direcionadas para a avaliação dos dados químicos e físico-químicos de fármacos que influenciam as propriedades farmacocinéticas com o auxílio de técnicas computacionais. Os objetivos foram permitir aos alunos conhecer essas ferramentas, saber como acessá-las, procurar as estruturas de fármacos e analisar os resultados. Este é o primeiro estudo publicado no Brasil que apresenta aula prática computacional sobre o tema farmacocinética. As aulas práticas utilizando os servidores Osiris e Molinspiration foram atraentes para os alunos, que desenvolveram as atividades com maior facilidade e sedimentaram o conhecimento teórico adquirido em sala de aula.

ABSTRACT

La literatura docente es de gran importancia en el proceso docente-educativo, pues contribuye a desarrollar con eficiencia este proceso ante los problemas existentes en la educación como consecuencia del vertiginoso desarrollo científico técnico. Estos medios de enseñanza tienen determinadas características, que si no se tienen en cuenta crean serios problemas docentes. El objetivo de este trabajo es explicar brevemente las características fundamentales de la literatura docente, destacando su evolución histórica, problemas funcionales, concepto y clasificación. La literatura docente tiene sus orígenes en la invención de la escritura en el Oriente Antiguo y se ha desarrollado progresivamente hasta nuestros días en que el aumento de conocimientos causado por el extraordinario desarrollo científico-técnico ha provocado grandes problemas en la educación. La literatura docente es el conjunto de materiales impresos (publicaciones) que se utilizan en el proceso docente educativo de forma organizada, cuya función fundamental es transmitir a los educandos la información correspondiente al programa analítico de su asignatura y de acuerdo con sus funciones didácticas se clasifican en cuatro categorías: básica, complementaria, auxiliar y de consulta.


The literature related to teaching is very usefulness in the teaching-educational process since it contribute to develop efficiently this process in face of the existing education problems as a consequence of the dizzy scientific-technical development. These teaching means have determined features that if are not took into account may to create serious teaching problems. The aim of present paper is to explain briefly the fundamental features of teaching literature, emphasizing its historical evolution, the functional problems, concept and classification. This literature has its origins in the creation of the writing in the Far East and progressively developed up to nowadays where the increasing knowledge provoked by the extraordinary scientific-technical development has leading to serious problems in education. The teaching literature is the collection of printed materials (publications) used in the teaching-educational process in a organized way, whose fundamental function is to transmit to students the training corresponding to the analytical program of its subject and according to its didactic functions are classified in four categories: basic, complementary, auxiliary and of consultation.

ABSTRACT

As autoras avaliam a retençäo dos conhecimentos adquiridos com aula sobre VSN ministrada no Curso de Graduaçäo da Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu - UNESP. Para isso foram estudados 2 grupos de alunos: 4§ e 6§ ano. Os testes foram aplicados no 4§ano, antes e após a aula e no 6§ano 2 anos após a aula. As autoras comentam os resultados e chamam a atençäo para a importância de se introduzir a VSN nos Cursos de Graduaçäo das Faculdades de Medicina visando melhorar a qualidade de vida dos pacientes portadores de VSN e integrá-los na sociedade
